Join us this time on a stroll to the iconic Aspire Park; Doha's biggest park! This photowalk will teach you how to improve your photography, understand your camera, and react to different photographic environments.

Aspire Park is a must-see urban oasis in Doha, spectacular views of Torch Tower with beautiful scenery -  a photographer's paradise! DSLR cameras, or any with manual settings, are recommended, but not necessary. We recommend bringing any lenses or equipment you may want to better familiarize yourself with.

This photowalk features a mix of Landscapes and Bird Photography. We will further explore composing beautiful and expansive panoramas of the park.

If you're not confident with your camera and/or looking for a reason to grab it and go on location, this may be a good excuse for you to join us on this walk!

The group will be limited to 10 photographers (plus myself).

What You Will Need

  • Bring your camera with fresh batteries (spare batteries are a plus).
  • Memory cards.

West Bay, is a photogenic city by day but it can be even more interesting around and after sunset. In this session, we'll take a walk around some different locations which offer photographic opportunities.

We will start at Tornado tower and return to the same location after 3 hours. This walk will feature a mix of cityscapes and laneway photography. (Below are some photos of what to expect).

Instruction will be offered on camera settings and how to better compose for city lights around sunset and blue hour. Workshop will cover as well long exposures and light-trail photography.

Any form of camera is welcome, but keep in mind that we'll be shooting in low-light conditions, so DSLRs will be your best bet in here. You may also find a tripod handy during this workshop.

If you're not confident with your camera and/or looking for a reason to grab it and go on location, this may be a good excuse for you to join us on this walk!

PS: group is limited for the first 10 photographers (plus myself).
